Corporate Social Responsibility
Corporate social responsibility is our way to contribute individually and collectively to the communities in which we operate.
Air International employees take their responsibility to their communities very personally. We have organized volunteer efforts to build or repair schools, orphanages, and other public facilities. We honor diversity and build relationships with people of all cultures and and faiths wherever we go.
Since 2010, Air International Thermal System’s North American employees have been actively involved in supporting our local communities with volunteer work at the Baldwin Center in Pontiac, Michigan.
The Baldwin Center’s mission is to feed, clothe, educate and empower the men, women and children of the Pontiac community. Air International employees have volunteered over 3000 hours at the Baldwin Center, focusing on multiple improvement projects, including fabrication of a hoop house allowing vegetables and fruit to grow more than 10 months a year. Employees have also donated clothing, food, and money to the facility and in 2014, Air International was named Volunteer Corporation of the Year at the Baldwin Center.
On a monthly basis, Air International (Shanghai) Co. Ltd., organizes and drives employees to a nearby clinic to donate blood for those in need.
Air International China has supported an orphanage in Chongqing, China since 2007 through a charity called “Beyond the Dream (BDC)”. The mission of “BDC” is to deliver educational support and scholarship, food, medicine, clothing and other necessities to young kids who lack these essentials due to poverty, abandonment, or natural disaster; and to fulfill corporate endeavor of harmonious society and better community.
